How to Make:

  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-low heat. Cook the onion, stirring, for 10 minutes or until soft. Increase heat to high. Add mince and garlic. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps, for 10 minutes or until mince changes colour.
  2. Add paprika and cayenne pepper. Cook, stirring often, for 10 minutes or until any liquid is absorbed. Stir in 2 tablespoons of the barbecue sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside for 20 minutes to cool.
  3. Preheat oven to 240°C. Place pizza bases on 2 baking trays. Spread remaining barbecue sauce over bases. Top with half the mozzarella. Top with mince mixture. Top with remaining mozzarella. Arrange salami on top and sprinkle with parmesan.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bases are crisp and the mozzarella melts. Top with baby rocket.

  • 600g beef mince
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) barbecue sauce
  • 2 (about 220g each) plain bought pizza bases
  • 100g (1 cup) coarsely grated mozzarella
  • 70g thinly sliced pepperoni or spicy salami
  • 25g (1/3 cup) finely grated parmesan
  • Baby rocket leaves, to serve
