How to Make:

  1. Use a fork to whisk the milk, oil and egg in a jug. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, chocolate, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and cardamom in a bowl. Make a well in the centre. Add milk mixture and stir until smooth and combined.
  2. Spoon mixture into a 375ml (1 1/2 cup) microwave-safe mug and microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes or until the mixture rises and is just cooked.
  3. Top the mug cake with a scoop of ice-cream, sprinkle with the extra cinnamon and serve immediately.
