How to Make:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the mushroom and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until just soft. Set aside to cool slightly. Combine the mushroom, ham, mozzarella and basil in a bowl.
  2. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper. Cut four 22cm discs from the pastry. Place one-quarter of the mushroom mixture on half of each disc. Brush the edges lightly with milk. Fold in half to enclose the filling. Press the edges with a fork to seal. Prick the tops with a fork. Place on the prepared trays. Bake for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden.
  3. Heat passata in a small saucepan over medium heat. Serve with the calzones.
